7th International Conference on Women and Gender in Transportation
I am inspired and energized by all the great people, research, and shared experiences at the Transportation Research Board‘s 7th International Conference on Women and Gender in Transportation this week!
On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to present our research led by @Alejandra Valencia-Vasquez & Gustavo Garcia Melero on
“Sexual Crimes and Harassment in Public Transportation in Chile. How Safe Are We?”
This generated a great discussion with my fellow panelist Pearl Liu and the audience.
On Wednesday, it was my pleasure to share the work that Gustavo Garcia Melero, Frances Yu, and I are currently working on:
“Attraction, retention, barriers for women working in engineering and construction of infrastructure projects.”
It is very exciting to see how all the panelists in the session contributed amazing research and experiences!! Megan E. Peterson, EdD, @Nicole Tyler, Julia Leone, Ph.D., Jodi Godfrey
