Instructions for Creating Video Fallback Images

  • Edit this page.
  • Hover your cursor over the video element below and click to edit it.
  • In the content tab, enter the URL of the vide where it is hosted at YouTube in the field for Choose Video.
    • Note that if the Youtube URL has been shortened so that it begins with “youtu.be” you must first use the shortened URL to get to the full URL at youtube.com for the post.
  • Click the blue button for “Download video thumbnail” to add the image that will be used for the “fallback” image to the media library.
  • Create the Video post.
  • Select the new fallback image in the field for “Fallback Image.”
  • Click the blue button in the Video post to Publish or Update.
